# Same Item Multiple Boards (SIMB)

## Limitations
- Formula, Mirror and Connect Boards columns don't sync (they can still be used alongside synced items)
- Items can't be shared between a classic board and a multi-level board
- Column names must match to sync (case-sensitive)

## When to recommend something else
- If another board only needs to see a few fields, monday.com's native Connect Boards + Mirror columns are enough
- If the item should move to another team and the two records don't need to match afterwards, a copy or move automation is enough
- If people only need charts and totals, a monday.com dashboard is enough
